Rare AK-47 ‘Scar’ in Counter-Strike sold for astronomical amount!
The story of the sale of one of the rarest skins in Counter-Strike history has come to a close. A player with the nickname roflm0nster, who turned down several offers for $1 million, finally got a satisfactory offer. However, he did not disclose the identity of the buyer or the final amount.
In January, a Counter-Strike collector’s dream came true. A lucky player managed to acquire a unique AK-47 with a rare Case Hardened coloration and patter number 661, known as “Scar”. This unique piece was in perfect condition and even had a StatTrak, making it a legendary item.
The owner of this unique piece immediately rejected offers of $1 million and demanded double that. Although he received other seven-figure offers, he was not satisfied until he lowered the price to $1.5 million in April. However, it took another two months to find a buyer.
This week, a historic moment occurred when roflm0nster announced the sale of his AK-47 with one word: “sold.” In a follow-up post, he said he could not disclose the buyer’s identity or the exact amount after agreeing with the buyer. The community thus did not learn who the new owner of one of the rarest items in CS2 history was, nor the exact sale price, which ranged between $1 million and $1.5 million.
