Artificial intelligence is changing our everyday life or Czechs are ahead

According to Jan Antos, Chief Technology Officer of Trask, a company focused on robotics, digitalization and artificial intelligence, we are looking at another year full of significant milestones in this area. Antoš says that Czechs have a good understanding of digital technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) will continue to be a key topic for technology companies.

Although AI brings many improvements, its slow penetration into everyday life can also have negative impacts typical of new technologies. Antos expressed concern about the potential dependence of humans on AI communication, likening it to constant scrolling on social media. Some people consider generative AI to be just a bubble that has burst, but Antos sees great potential in the fact that AI will soon be able to handle tasks and activities that will significantly change our lives. AI agents, which are now being discussed in the tech community, will soon be able to not only answer questions but also perform specific tasks. While physical robots are unlikely, intelligence embedded in apps and personal assistants, such as Microsoft’s Copilot, will become common.Antos explained how AI is already replacing some activities previously performed by humans, such as processing documentation in companies. He points to the need to control AI outputs, as current technologies can sometimes generate errors. In the future, AI agents are expected to replace traditional internet searches and become communicative partners. Antos also pointed out the possible psychological effects of virtual communication, which can be addictive and lead to an escape from reality.

Another interesting area is quantum computing, which has the potential to significantly impact cryptography and data security. Antos pointed out that quantum computers could reverse engineer most of today’s encrypted data, which would have significant implications for the security of digital technologies. Czech companies are ahead of many countries in digitisation and innovation. Antos stressed that innovative thinking and creativity are key to successful digitisation and bringing real processes online. Antos sees great potential in the future for AI and other technological innovations that will have a profound impact on our daily lives. It is important for companies and developers to be mindful of the ethical considerations and risks associated with the use of these technologies and to focus on creating technologies that truly deliver value and improve the quality of people’s lives.
