A 65-year-old gamer crushes his opponents! He’s spent over 7,000 hours in Call of Duty
The fact that video games are for all ages is becoming more and more apparent as time goes on. The proof can be seen, for example, in the game statistics posted on social networks by younger family members.
One such case may be one of the Reddit users who boasted about the gaming career of his 65-year-old father-in-law on the social network.
The Call of Duty: World at War enthusiast gamer has been playing since its release on November 11, 2008. In total, he has accumulated nearly fifteen years of experience. In that time, the 65-year-old sharpshooter has already managed to add a good portion of enemies and headshots to his statistics.
He spent exactly 293 days, 14 hours and 23 minutes in the fifth installment of one of the most famous franchises in history. 7,046 hours in one binge? That’s quite a number. But it’s not like he’s spending hours every day on CoD. The daily average comes out to about an hour and 20 minutes on top. Also respectable is the 65-year-old partier’s current K/D (kill-to-death ratio), which is close to 1.7. After half a million kills, a very fine achievement. He also puts 91 kills a day in his stats!
But the player in question is certainly no exception. In his retirement age, his ilk set up YouTube channels and spend thousands of hours on the popular Animal Crossing.
