FC Barcelona unveils its own fan phone – with glowing footballers’ signatures!

If you’re going to an FC Barcelona game in the near future, you might want to consider changing your phone. That’s because the famous Spanish club has unveiled its own fan-facing phone at MWC 2025. However, it’s a modified HMD Fusion X1, developed by HMD, the company behind Nokia phones. In addition, Barcelona is also thinking about fans of button mobiles and is offering them a special version of its device.
It is important to point out that even Barcelona players themselves do not have to change their existing phone for the new edition. This model has been developed in partnership between the club and HMD and is aimed at appealing to fans in particular. Nevertheless, it is an interesting product that can please all fans of the Catalan club.
The new smartphone is called Barça Fusion and is based on the HMD Fusion X1. It differs from the basic version mainly by the back, which features the signatures of 11 Barcelona players. They also have a special treatment – they glow in the dark under UV light. So if you want to impress at football parties and have the autographs of your favourite players literally glowing, the Barça Fusion is the ideal choice. Among the signed footballers you will find names like Ter Stegen, Lewandowski, Koundé, Raphinha, Olmo, Pedri, Gavi, Fermín López, Pau Cubarsí, Marc Casadó and Lamine Yamal.
“The new smartphone gives fans another way to connect even more with Barça,” said Marc Bruix, who is in charge of sponsorship activities at the club.
Barça Fusion features a modular design and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. It is available with 6 or 8 GB of RAM, while the display has a diagonal of 6.56 inches and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The rear camera offers 108 megapixels while the front camera has a resolution of 50 megapixels. The phone also includes exclusive wallpapers with the club logo.
A button mobile for nostalgics
In addition to the smartphone, Barcelona also unveiled the HMD Barça 3210, designed for fans of classic button phones. This mobile doesn’t have the players’ signatures, but features the same club design and Barcelona’s iconic colours – blue and red.
It is a modern reinterpretation of the legendary Nokia 3210, which retains its retro character but brings contemporary technology. Fans of good old classics will appreciate that the legendary Snake game, once a staple of Nokia phones, is not missing.
So both the smartphone and the button models offer fans a new way to show their devotion to the club while having a practical device with a Barcelona touch.
