Google in danger, OpenAI launches new search engine with AI features!

This year will be a challenge for the Google search engine. OpenAI has launched its search engine with artificial intelligence functionality that could significantly change the way we use internet search engines. The new SearchGPT search engine should be faster and more accurate than current standard search engines.

How will SearchGPT work?
You will be able to enter queries into the search engine using both text and, later, voice. The search engine will then find the most accurate answer and cite relevant sources, ensuring that the answer is not just an AI invention. A key difference from conventional search engines is the ability to ask follow-up questions and have a fluid conversation as with a live person – the AI will be able to understand the context of the follow-up questions. In addition, the search engine will also be able to provide visual answers such as photos or videos.

The first promising competition for Google
There are many search engines on the market, but Google remains the most widely used. The other search engines do not offer significantly different features and operate in a very similar way. SearchGPT, however, brings significant innovation and has the potential to win a large portion of users away from its biggest rival. The ability to ask additional questions without having to start a new search will be very handy, but we’ll see how it works in practice.

How to sign up for testing?
SearchGPT’s search engine officially launched on Thursday in a prototype version that is limited to a certain number of users, as reported by TheVerge website. A maximum of 10,000 people can sign up for the first wave of testing. If you want to give the search engine a try, feel free to sign up in the queue on the relevant page. In the future, we will also see the integration of SearchGPT into the ChatGPT chatbot.
