Markéta Vondroušová- tennis queen with a dream budget after Wimbledon success
Markéta Vondroušová, the Czech tennis number one, enjoys the limelight and financial success after her triumph at Wimbledon. Despite finishing the year with losses at the Champions Tournament and a disappointing performance at the Billie Jean King Cup, she ended the 2023 season on a strong high. The twenty-four-year-old put a nice 100 million crowns in her wallet, half the amount she earned in her entire career.
Even though Vondrousova has only dominated two tournaments on the WTA circuit, including this year’s Wimbledon Championships, her career and financial success go hand in hand. From her first triumph in 2017 to her recent Wimbledon success, the Czech tennis player has dealt with health challenges and moved up to seventh in the rankings.
Vondroušová, who has already earned around 200 million crowns on the circuit, has seen a fantastic increase in income. Her bankroll has expanded by another 100 million crowns this year, making her one of the highest paid women in tennis. Roughly half of that amount comes from winning Wimbledon, while another portion comes from lucrative sponsorship deals.
In the women’s tennis world, Vondroušova ranks sixth in financial gain this season. In comparison to the men’s circuit, she ranked thirteenth behind the dominant Djokovic. Although the Czech tennis player is only at the beginning of her journey, her financial success has already confirmed her position as one of the most prominent figures in the tennis world.
