His responsibilities will include overseeing all retail stores, including the kitchen studio, as well as planning the brand’s expansion into new cities to reach out to a broader customer base. Karcol replaces Aldin Vatres, who, after three years, is returning to Germany for a new role within the furniture group.
Karcol has been part of XXXLutz since February 2022, initially serving as a regional sales manager trainee. A key focus for Karcol will be leveraging data and analysis to understand customer demographics, expectations, and purchasing behaviors. Petr Laurich, the managing director of XLCZ Nábytek and XLSK Nábytok, under which XXXLutz operates, expressed confidence in Karcol’s appointment, citing his extensive sales experience as an asset to the company’s ambitious goals.
As the CEO, Karcol will oversee the performance of retail stores, the kitchen studio, and multiple departments, including marketing, procurement, logistics, organizational development, e-commerce, merchandising, and restaurant operations. Additionally, he will lead the development of the B2B segment.
“XXXLutz has experienced significant growth in recent years, not only in direct consumer sales but also as a key supplier of home furnishings for residential and commercial real estate investors in the emerging multifunctional AFI City district. To further enhance this aspect, a dedicated B2B division has been established. I aim to strengthen this direction and actively contribute to the brand’s next phase of development,” summarized Michal Karcol, the CEO of XXXLutz.
