Toyota breaks profit records!
In the last financial year, Toyota Motor, Japan’s leading carmaker, recorded an impressive rise in net profit, which almost doubled to a record 4.94 trillion yen, equivalent to about 742 billion kronor. This remarkable increase in profits was supported by several factors, including strong demand for vehicles following the end of the covid-19 pandemic, as well as the decline in the value of the Japanese yen, which contributed to the automaker’s increased competitiveness in international markets.
In addition, the company’s sales for the period also increased by a significant 21.4 percent to a record ¥45.1 trillion. This result demonstrates the company’s strong growth and its ability to respond effectively to dynamic changes in the automotive industry. Toyota, which is one of the most important players in the automotive market worldwide, announced the figures in a media statement on Wednesday, confirming its position as one of the leaders in the automotive industry.
Earlier, Toyota reported that it achieved record global car sales and production in the last financial year. For the first time in its history, the company surpassed the ten million vehicle sales mark, a testament to its continued commitment to growth and innovation. This achievement strengthens Toyota’s position in the market and shows that even in the face of difficult global challenges, the automaker is able to deliver exceptional results and maintain its position among the industry’s leading players.
